Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Stjepan Lakušić, attended on December 20, 2019 the signing of 25 contracts from the call “Investing in Science and Innovation – First Call”, at the Ministry of Science and Education.

During the ceremony, a contract was signed to finance the project “Autonomous System for Inspection and Prediction of the Integrity of Transport Infrastructure – ASAP”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, within the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1. Strengthening the economy through the application of research and innovation, and Specific Objective 1a1 Increased capacity of the research and development sector (IRI) to conduct top quality research and meet the needs of the economy.

The project with a total value of HRK 7,199,141.25 is led by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and brings together experts in the field of assessment of buildings of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and experts in robotic and automated technologies from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb.
